March 02-03, 2025

Founder and Director of the Ecological Design Lab, Professor Nina-Marie Lister, has been named the recipient of the 2024-25 John R. Bracken Fellowship, awarded by the Department of Landscape Architecture in the College of Arts and Architecture’s Stuckeman School at Penn State. As part of this honor, Nina-Marie will deliver a keynote lecture at the Stuckeman School’s 2025 Research Symposium on March 3 in the HUB-Robeson Center, Heritage Hall, focusing on design activism and advocating for the coexistence of wildlife and people in healthy, connected landscapes. Hosted by the College of Arts and Architecture’s Stuckeman School at Penn State, and organized by Andy Cole (director of the Ecology Plus Design (E+D) research center), this two-day event will delve into the crucial role animals play in design and how their presence influences our environments.
